You won’t find goats or chickens here, but what they do have is fresh local food, quality coffee and a fitting eco-chic environment, with upcycled pallet furniture from local manufacturer Paletky, retro bikes mounted to the wall and a serene inner courtyard. While not vegetarian, all meat and dairy is local and free-range and the menu also includes plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free eaters, including gluten-free pancakes, organic porridge with soy milk and a veggie burger. Perfect for any time of day and very child and dog friendly. Bonus: they even rent bikes and will pack a picnic for you!
“I’m from the Czech Republic but lived in Canada and felt that an eco-friendly place with good food was missing at home. This place is about going back to the roots. We try to waste as little as possible and use the best ingredients. We even pick up some of our groceries at the farmer’s market by bike.” – Lucie Vanaskova, General Manager of The Farm
