This hidden spot in Prague’s center sells certified-organic savory and sweet raw treats, from raw soups, cheeses and mains (try the caprese salad!) to scrumptious raw donuts, cakes and chocolate, and everything in between. Their home-made, uniquely non-pasteurized smoothies and homemade “nutella” and “carawmel” spreads are also to die for. The chef, who studied raw cooking in the US, uses state-of-the-art techniques to aid in digestion and create top notch flavors and textures. In summer, organic and locally sourced ingredients are favored, including special Czech-grown kale. The deli has a few tables so you can eat in, or if you must takeaway, at least you can know that they use all compostable packaging. Organic fairtrade coffee and tea are also on offer, as well as a daily breakfast from 8:00-11:00.
“There are a lot of raw and vegan restaurants in the Czech Republic, but they are not organic. For us, the most important aspects of the raw diet are health, taste, quality and organic quality. Raw eating is also about mentality and feeling at peace in your body.” – Sabina Doskočilová, Sales Manager of Raw Deli
