Mlsná kavka is a vegetarian restaurant offering quality food served by people disadvantaged by the labor market. The menu consists of seasonal ingredients that are adapted to the season and sourced from smaller local farms where possible. From Czech specialties like potato dumplings to foreign dishes like Nasi Goreng, the menu has something for a range of tastes. The vegetarian cuisine is complemented by an offering of fairtrade coffee and teas. In addition, the restaurant offers catering and cooking classes where the chef shares his tips, tricks and recipes.
“Our chef is trying to introduce vegetarian food to everyone. Raw materials are supplied mostly by verified suppliers, with whom we have a long term cooperation. At the same time we are looking for smaller local farmers depending on the season, for instance for asparagus, pumpkins and wild garlic.”- Petr Prochazka, owner of Mlsná kavka
